hi i want to buy a fj cruiser bumper N# WAR3530, but i live in canada, do you know where can i found it, or a dealer near montreal, qc. thx
I have purchased your front bumper with guard for my 2014 fj, however the install is now a bit more complex. The 2014 has two brackets on either side below the headlights that must be removed or the bumper will not go on. Normally not an issue, but these brackets hold the headlights in place. Anything further?
Are you unable to install the brackets back on after you install the bumper?
Hi. I have a warrior front bumper for the FJ Cruiser… I love it. I now want to add a winch, but there doesn’t seem to be a lot of room in there. Do you have a list anywhere of winches that have successfully been installed in your bumper, preferably without any modification.
Thanks for any help
Yes, we have a list of winches that SHOULD fit. We have only tested two winches on the FJ Cruiser Front Bumper thus far (Smittybilt XRC 8 and XRC 8 Comp Series) and neither of these required modification. Most any 8,000 – 10,000 pound rated winch will work as long as it has a non-integrated solenoid unit and the solenoid unit can be relocated. The entire list has been sent to you via email for further information regarding your request.
Does installation of the bumper have any impact on air bag functionality?
Installation of the Warrior Products FJ Cruiser Front Bumper does not require removal, modification or deactivation of the OEM airbag system in any way. The airbag system is activated by sensors that measure acceleration and deceleration. Because these systems have little to do with a physical impact and more so the change in speed, the bumper should not have any major influence on when the airbags might be deployed. That being said, we have not undertaken any kind of destructive testing to force an airbag deployment in a simulated collision scenario.
I hope this helps. Please email us at email@example.com if you have any questions. Have a great weekend.
The Warrior Products FJ Cruiser Bumper Model #3530 does it come with the winch line rollers as shown in pictures? Also does the fender liners have to be removed? If so do you have to get parts to recover where fender liner was? I am seriously considering buying this bumper for my 2008 FJ Cruiser.
Also what winch do you recommend and do you have install instructions for it?
Yes, we have install instructions for the bumper located at the bottom of this page. We can definitely send you a list of recommended winches for use with this bumper. The bumper itself does not come with winch line rollers, but each of the recommended winches will have these included. You won’t have to remove the fender liners, but you will have to trim them – the instructions should provide more details on this.
Really like your bumper!
I currently have an FJ, but am considering trading for a 4 Runner.
Will you be making this bumper for the Runner?
Maybe. While we can’t comment on our future development of products, we are able to say that we are always looking for exciting, new, and innovative ideas from the public. These suggestions and requests guide our new parts development. Thank you for your interest in Warrior Products!
