We're making great headway on this Jeep every day, so we've got even more to share with you. YJ owners are going to love all of the great new items we're working on right now. First, you may have seen them in other pictures, but here they are in some detail. Our steel LED cutout corners (#s915a) have been prepped for installation. This involves cutting the tub for the lights to fit, and then the standard drill and pop rivet installation. We've decided to take a little bit different approach to show that there is no wrong way to install the body armor. Our approach this time is a set of stainless countersink style allen bolts.

With our front axle removed to have factory brackets cut off, it was a great time to work on our steering. We've decided to step up to 1-ton GM tie rod ends as well as build it to go over the knuckle. We do plan on making this steering kit available, but with the factory trackbar and bracket in place, it will need to be kept under the knuckle. For this axle, we'll be just fine. You can see some of the other steering related components we sell, in the Steering Box Braces & Skidplates section
Right now the big mission is to get the installation of our suspension system completed. This new system will incorporate a spring-over axle conversion in the rear. The rear installation kit will be a simple kit of perches, shock mounts, U-bolts, Spring plates, and shocks. The front kit will convert your standard leaf springs to a TJ Wrangler style coil with a long-arm configuration to give your Jeep better overall suspension performance in both on and off road driving. Until this kit comes available, please take a look at the other options we have in the YJ Suspension Kits section.
